Crunch time

Deadline in less than 2 weeks. My back is definitely feeling the weather. Today was relatively OK (yeah the sun came out). Yesterday was quite bad. Tomorrow... will probably be bad unless it's sunny, thanks to a lot of bad posture today.

hey hey MC
Noticed you still have your engine light problem.
I wouldn't really worry about it. If your car didn't fail on you now.. it's fine. I would suspect a faulty o2 sensor (that's oxygen sensor). There's a few of them on the car. Replacing them usually fixes this "light" problem. If you leave it alone..it's fine for awhile.. sometimes for along while. Drawback is you might get bad fuel consumption or something like that. Nothing major. How is your fuel economy?

Hi Tonee! Thanks so much for the tip! I'm very lost when it comes to cars. (^_^;) Yes my car has been running with that light on for almost a month! And I still haven't heard from my mechanic. (T_T) I should phone him up on Monday and ask about the O2 sensor. (The garage closes on weekends.) As to fuel economy, I'm not 100% sure, as I now work part time between 1 to 3 days a week in North Van, and haven't really gotten the hang of the car's performance. Hmm... I need a better job but not sure what I can do... (T_T)

The o2 sensor is just a possibilty. Your mechanic would have to pull it out and put in a new one to see if it is indeed the sensor. (And he'd have to do that with each sensor.. it's a trial an error thing.)

The mechanic's time spent is $$$ as you know. PLUS, expect the sensor to be around $100 to replace. Just be mentally prepared for it.. if you do decide to have it checked.

My uncle had/still has his engine light on.. and it's been on for YEARS! haha

GL with it!

Thanks! Wow... and your uncle's car is fine... (but there's no guarantee my car is the same, though.)
